Mastering Actions

Actions on Apple Watch

With Actions for Apple Watch, your tasks go with you on the go, even when you don’t have access to your iPhone.

To get started, make sure your Apple Watch has the Actions app installed. For Apple Watches with watchOS 5 and before, visit the Watch app and go to the App Store tab to find Actions. On Apple Watches with watchOS 6 and above, visit the App Store on the Watch and search for Actions.

When you launch Actions for Apple Watch, your Lists will appear with their appropriate color. At the top of the group is the “Schedule” button, which represents all of the tasks currently in your schedule.

To add an Action on Apple Watch:

  1. Tap on the desired List or Schedule
  2. Firmly press on the screen until you see “Add Action”
  3. Tap the button
  4. Dictate the title of the Action Card

You can also delete or complete an Action Card by tapping on the Card and choosing your desired option.

Another benefit of Actions for Apple Watch is that models with cellular connectivity can access tasks without the need of an iPhone nearby. Once you’ve installed the app, you can leave your phone at home and still access your Lists, tasks, and Schedule wherever you are.
